DJ Pulse

In development

The AI that mixes with you.
Not instead of you.

DJ Pulse is a DJ platform with an assistance dial. Turn it all the way up and it plays the whole set for you. Turn it all the way down and it says nothing — it just watches, and hands you the report afterwards. Everything interesting happens in between.

The dial

Five levels of help. You choose how much, and you can change it mid-set.

Level 5

Autopilot Hands off

Full auto. Track selection, transitions, energy curve, the read of the room — DJ Pulse runs the entire set. For the moments you need music without a DJ, or for a beginner who wants to hear what "good" sounds like before trying it themselves.

Level 4

Auto-correct Auto-Tune for DJs

You mix. It silently fixes. Drifting beatmatch pulled back into the grid, a key clash nudged into harmony, levels balanced across the transition. The same bargain Auto-Tune struck with singers — your performance, cleaned up in real time.

Level 3

Guard rails Stops the train wreck

It won't fix your mix, but it won't let you crash it either. The catastrophic mistakes — dropping wildly off-phrase, a clashing key, killing the wrong channel live — get intercepted before the room hears them. You still do the work.

Level 2

Coach Signals & cues

Visual signals, reminders and tips in the moment. Where the phrase lands, when to bring the bass back, which track pairs well next, how long you've been riding the same energy. It tells you — you decide whether to listen.

Level 1

Spotter Silent · report after

It says nothing at all. It just watches the whole set and hands you the debrief afterwards — every drifted beatmatch, every rushed phrase, every transition that worked. No interference in the moment. All of the learning after it.

Who it's for

The same dial serves a nine-year-old and a touring professional.

🎧

Kids & total beginners

Start at Autopilot and walk the dial down. Guard rails mean a first attempt can't end in noise — which is the thing that makes most beginners quit in week one.

📈

Improvers

Live at Coach and Guard rails. The cues teach phrasing and energy management by showing you the decision at the moment it matters, not in a lesson three days later.

🏆

Working professionals

Sit at Spotter. No interference, no safety net — just an honest, unsentimental read on a real set afterwards. The equivalent of tape review for athletes.

The roster

Different DJs, different heads. Including, potentially, real ones.

DJ Pulse isn't one AI voice — it's a roster of DJ personas, each with its own taste, mixing style and way of teaching. A drum & bass head coaches differently from a house selector. The ambition is to extend that roster to real, licensed DJs — learn to mix with a name whose style you already know, approved by the artist.

🎚️

Standalone project. DJ Pulse is its own product, not a module of Xavia's Team. The clips below came from that work and are being reused here as early visual reference only.
